Troubleshooting

Tiling chapter of the Ditch Assist app manual. The same text is in the app under Manual.

In the app Manual › Tiling › Troubleshooting

"No tile design — Min Grade conflicts with depth window." Either lower Min Grade, raise Max Depth, or accept that the tile will hit the constraints. The design line still works — it just touches the limits.

The optimizer's Outlet is wrong. Tap the Outlet toggle in the dialog header to flip it.

Trench is too deep / too shallow at the outlet. The benchmark is off, or your Target Depth is wrong. Check the BM badge — should be green and showing a small offset. If unsure, drive to a point of known surface elevation and recalibrate.

Auto-Nudge controls don't appear. Correct — Tiling does not support Auto-Nudge. The toggle is forced off and the prompt is suppressed.

Tile depth fluctuates a lot in soft ground. The hydraulics can react too aggressively to GPS jitter. Open Settings → CONTROLLER and lower CRS values, or switch to Hold through the soft spot and run it manually for a few yards.
