Install uphill from the outlet. Otherwise the trench fills with water as you go. The app does not enforce this — it is your call.
Min Grade may not be achievable. If the survey's elevation drop is less than Min Grade × Length, the optimizer will not be able to keep all of the tile inside the depth window AND meet Min Grade. It does its best — you'll see the design touching Max Depth or Min Depth and a warning.
Increase Max Depth before lowering Min Grade. Going deeper costs more diesel but keeps drainage; flattening the grade can leave water sitting in the tile.
Sticky defaults survive between jobs. If you set Target Depth = 42″ on this job, the next time you open the Tiling dialog you start at 42″ again. Override per-job if needed.
Single-pass means single-pass. There is no "go back over it lower". If you cut a section too shallow, you have to handle it manually — the auto-nudge multi-pass workflow does not exist in Tiling mode.
