Which Ditch Assist kit do I have?
Tell the Full Automation Kit, Guidance Only Kit, Ditch Assist Lite and DIG™ Kit apart by what is on the machine and what the tablet shows, then go straight to the pages that apply to yours.
There are four Ditch Assist® kits. They all run the same app and every workflow, so most of this Learning Center applies to you whatever you have. The differences are what's bolted to the machine, how the tablet connects, and whether the app can move the implement for you.
Check in 30 seconds
Look at the receiver
A round grey Emlid Reach on a pole on the blade, with no cables to a box? That's Ditch Assist Lite. A receiver on the stick of an excavator with sensors on the stick and bucket linkage? That's a DIG™ Kit.
Otherwise, look for the valve
A black Ditch Assist control module with a cable running to a hydraulic valve block between the tractor remotes and the lift cylinder means a Full Automation Kit. A control module with no valve, the remote hosed straight to the cylinder, means a Guidance Only Kit.
Check the Wi-Fi name on the tablet
Open the tablet's Wi-Fi list (how). Control module networks start with
DitchAssist, DIG modules withMECU_Ditch_Dig, and a Reach is named likeReach:XX:XX(letters and numbers in place of the X's).
