Stop, Resume, and what stays open
Manual Grade chapter of the Ditch Assist app manual. The same text is in the app under Manual.
In the app Manual › Manual Grade › Stop, Resume, and what stays open
Tap Stop in the sidebar to halt grading. Three things happen at once:
- The hydraulics halt immediately (a halt command is sent to the controller).
- The job auto-saves.
- The active segment stays open. Tapping Start again later resumes against the same 0+00 reference — the Ready to Start? dialog is skipped on resume.
To finish a segment instead of resuming it, tap Change Grade (which closes it and leaves the inline Set Grade bar at the bottom of the screen pre-filled for the next leg — edit grade / direction / depth there, tap Apply, then Start) or Reset (which closes it as collateral while clearing everything else — the saved job remains on disk).
Re-opening a saved job:
Saved manual-grade jobs appear in the sidebar Resume button on the Grade screen when no active design is loaded. Resume reloads the segments, their grades, the per-segment 0+00 anchors, and the profile chart. Tap Start to continue against the open segment.
