A world file (.jgw for JPG, .pgw for PNG) is a small text sidecar file that tells mapping software exactly where an image sits on the earth — its corner coordinates and pixel size. Keep it in the same folder as the image, with the same file name — this tool downloads both together with matching names — and Ditch Assist can load the image as a map layer in the correct real-world position.

JPG and PNG load as-is; a TIFF or GeoTIFF is converted to JPG in your browser, and a GeoTIFF with embedded location data is placed on the map automatically.
