When you submit the contact form or the get a quote form, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, location, equipment details, and message. These forms are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to our team by email. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, or route you to the right dealer or contact.
The dealer locator has an optional "Use my location" button. If you tap it, your browser asks your permission and, if granted, uses your device's location only to center the map near you. That location is never sent to our servers or stored — it stays in your browser for that session.
If you choose a language (English, Spanish, or Portuguese) or other display setting, we may save that choice in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
The Job Viewer tool reads job, survey, design, and log files you open or drag into your browser entirely on your own computer. Nothing you open in Job Viewer is uploaded to us or to any server — it never leaves your device.
The AI Support beta processes only the text, microphone audio, selected camera frames, diagnostic references, and human-support draft that you separately choose to share. The browser keeps the working transcript in memory by default and does not save transcripts, camera frames, raw logs, or coordinates in local storage. A continuous camera preview stays on your device; the AI receives only selected compressed still frames, not native video. Retrieval requests and live-session creation pass through a protected Ditch Assist backend; during a live session, the browser connects directly to OpenAI using a short-lived client credential. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the account opts in, but applicable abuse-monitoring retention may still occur. If you explicitly confirm a human-support submission, the reviewed draft and contact details are sent through Formspree to Ditch Assist. Do not submit passwords, dealer codes, private coordinates, raw logs, or customer data.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and reliability — things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We do not use this data for advertising.
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help visitors and which need work — page views and actions like starting a quote or opening a manual. We configure it with ad personalization signals disabled, and we do not use analytics data for advertising or sell it to anyone. You can block analytics with any standard content blocker without affecting how this site works.

We may share it with a local Ditch Assist dealer if that is needed to help with your request, and with service providers (like Formspree) strictly to operate this site.
We keep form submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@ditchassist.com. You can also decline the dealer locator's location prompt and still use the site normally, or clear your browser's local storage to remove saved language/display preferences.
This site is intended for business and agricultural equipment audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
